NOTAH BEGAY III TO PLAY WILSON STAFF MODEL GOLF BALL IN HIS PGA TOUR CHAMPIONS 2023 SEASON DEBUT
Expanded partnership with Wilson includes golf ball endorsement and renewal of sponsorship of the NB3 Junior National Golf Championship
CHICAGO — Wilson Sporting Goods Co. today announced an expanded partnership with Notah Begay III and his Youth Foundation Golf Initiative. The multi-year deal includes a golf ball product endorsement and Wilson’s renewed commitment as the official equipment sponsor of the Notah Begay III Junior Golf Championship.
Begay III made his 2023 PGA TOUR Champions season debut at Tiburon Golf Club in Naples, FL last week at the Chubb Classic where he played the Wilson Staff Model golf ball and wore the Staff Model golf glove.
“With the option to play every ball on the tour, I chose the Wilson Staff model because it gets off the driver faster and gives me the best spin and feel off the green,” said Begay III.
As part of the expanded relationship, Wilson also announced that it has renewed its contract as the Official Equipment Sponsor of the Notah Begay III Junior Golf National Championship. The popular tournament features an international field of top junior players who qualify through local and regional events to compete in the 54-hole national championship televised on The Golf Channel.

As of 2020, Wilson Golf is the exclusive equipment partner of the Notah Begay III Jr. Golf National Championship. The NB3JGNC offers every junior golfer in the country the opportunity to compete in a Junior Golf National Championship at the highest level. The NB3JGNC aims to promote the game of golf by providing players with a platform to compete against the best juniors in the country in a true open qualifying series. The national championship consists of the top 140 players in both the boys and girls categories. Wilson Golf will provide each participant with dozens of packs of their Staff Model 4-piece urethane golf ball and Triad 3-piece urethane golf ball.
