NRLW 2022: When is it, draw, teams, squads, results, how to watch, betting odds

More NRLW is coming, the 2022 season starts in August.

It follows a delayed 2021 campaign that took place earlier in the year.

The Sydney Roosters are the reigning champions but will face stiff competition from the five other teams in what is expected to be a hard-fought Premier League battle.

NRLW 2022 draw and results

NRLW will be played over five rounds in 2022, with the Parramatta Eels and Sydney Roosters starting the new season on Saturday 20th August.

Game details are already set for each week except Round 4.

The final round of the regular season will be played at Gosford’s Central Coast Stadium, with three consecutive games played on a Sunday.

When are the NRLW semi-finals and grand final in 2022?

Specific dates and locations for the final in 2022 have yet to be announced.

However, it is likely that the grand final will be played at Accor Stadium on Sunday 2nd October as the start of the NRL playoff.

Last year’s grand final was held at Moreton Daily Stadium in Redcliffe, Queensland.

How to see NRLW in 2022

The NRLW Premiership will air on Channel 9 at least until the end of the 2027 season, following a deal struck earlier this year.

Every game of the 2022 season will be broadcast live and free-to-air, with the opening game between the Eels and the Roosters being broadcast on Nine’s main channel.

Games are also sub-licensed to Foxtel, with games being shown through Fox Sports and Kayo.

NRLW 2022 teams

Six teams will take part in the 2022 NRLW edition.

In 2023, the NRLW will expand to 10 teams, with four new clubs joining the competition.

These teams are the Canberra Raiders, Cronulla Sharks, North Queensland Cowboys and Wests Tigers.
