The pet-friendly hotel is the newest addition to Old Montreal’s thriving hospitality scene Hyatt Centric Boutique hotel, has partnered with the prestigious maker’s mark to launch a one-of-a-kind bourbon that is sure to impress.

Each year, Maker’s Mark selects a single restaurant group Eastern Canada attend his prestigious barrel select program, This allows the group to blend their own unique whisky.

This year the Burgundy lion group was selected to participate based on their exceptional whiskey program and the expertise and passion of their resident whiskey connoisseur. Toby Lyle.

adriana‘, the result of this collaboration (and also the name of Toby’s 7-year-old daughter), is a Burgundy Lion Group Bourbon that embodies the perfect balance of refinement and accessibility.

Media representatives were invited to join yesterday Toby Lyle and brand ambassador of the Canadian manufacturer Lindsay Wood at the Hyatt Centric Hotel for a VIP media whiskey tasting. During this special experience, guests had the opportunity to sample and explore Maker’s Mark’s portfolio, including the creation of the “Adrianna” blend.

It was a once in a lifetime opportunity to learn from the experts and taste the finest Canadian whiskey.

Each stave accentuates different naturally occurring notes in their bourbon

CU: Fried French cuvée : Warm caramel notes, molasses and long finish

In May, Toby traveled to Kentucky to work with Maker’s Mark to create a bourbon tailored for the Quebec market and his personal tastes. The blended whiskey was then matured 9 weeks in Maker’s Mark’s purpose-built wine cellar, available in limited quantities through the SAQ.
