Peoples Pace Team Will Offer More Pace Groups Than Ever

By partnering with Peoples, more participants will receive additional support to meet their goals this spring
PITTSBURGH, PA (March 21, 2023) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ — P3R has partnered with Peoples, an Essential Utilities company, to expand the pace team at DICK’S Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon Weekend of Events 2023. By offering more pace groups than ever before, the Peoples Pace Team will help more MOVERS achieve their goals in 2023, whether it’s completing their first race, setting a new personal record or qualifying for the Boston – Qualify for the marathon.
“We strive to inspire everyone to move with us and aim to provide a world-class experience for all participants, whether they’re crossing the finish line first or planning to run and walk the marathon in seven hours,” said Troy Schooley, P3R CEO. “By offering more pace groups this year, we’re giving more participants extra support to run or walk their best race.”
The expanded Peoples Pace Team includes pacers from 3 to 7 hours for the Pittsburgh Marathon and 1 hour, 40 minutes to 3 hours for the UPMC Health Plan Pittsburgh Half Marathon. Pacers will also be available for the UPMC Health Plan/UPMC Sports Medicine Pittsburgh 5K and the Pittsburgh BACK Half Marathon.
