Real Madrid vs AC Milan live score, updates, result, highlights from USA friendly
The summer of high-profile European pre-season friendlies continues in the United States when Real Madrid and AC Milan meet in a showdown as part of the Soccer Champions Tour on Sunday night at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California.
Popular USA international Christian Pulisic is expected to make his first public appearance at his new club, having joined from Premier League side Chelsea just a few weeks ago. Pulisic is expected to play a huge role for Milan in his debut season at the Italian side and with him needing minutes to grapple with his new teammates, a significant strain is expected in pre-season.
Madrid, meanwhile, can snag a big new prize in this summer’s transfer market: Jude Bellingham has joined for a huge fee from Pulisic’s old club Borussia Dortmund.
While the Spanish giants are targeting their league opener on August 12, Milan start their regular season nine days later, so each side’s pre-season progress could be slightly different from a player load point of view.

Real Madrid vs AC Milan Live updates, highlights, comments
1 hour 45 minutes to kick: As Christian Pulisic begins his life at AC Milan, another hugely famous player makes a fresh start at Real Madrid. Jude Bellingham is the biggest star of the summer transfer window as Madrid completely retool their midfield.
At just 20 years old, Bellingham isn’t just someone for the future – he’s already one of the top five midfielders in the world. Last year, for all midfielders in the Big 5 European leagues, Bellingham ranked in the 90th percentile or higher below midfielders in the following statistics: goals (99th), goals expected (97th), shots (94th), shot-making actions (93rd), progressive passes (94th), progressive runs (92nd), successful attacks (99th) and touches (98th).
Big volume, big hit – he’s already a superstar and at such a young age he has legendary potential. And yes, he can also defend. Bellingham has the world at his feet.
2 hours to start: Christian Pulisic is sure to be the big hit tonight as the USMNT forward makes his second start in pre-season for his new club.
Much has been said about the position Pulisic will play for Milan and it’s likely that Stefano Pioli will see him rotated to both a wide role and 10th place. The squad is bloated at both positions, but Pulisic looks set to be the first frontrunner to get the nod at either of those two positions, while Milan work out how to shed the fat.
Wearing the number 11 jersey, Pulisic played his first minutes for Milan against Serie D club FC Lumezzane on Thursday. Even if the competition wasn’t great, he managed two assists and hit the post with a shot on goal.

The only player in the Real Madrid squad struggling with an injury is Daniel Ceballos, who is unavailable until September with a hamstring injury he picked up in training about a week ago. Elsewhere, Carlo Ancelotti has his full squad to choose from, meaning he could field an eleven in the first half and make significant changes after the break.
Karim Benzema is no longer with the Spanish club having moved to Saudi Arabia earlier this summer. However, Jew Bellingham has started to integrate into his new team and could be involved here along with other signings Joselu, Arda Guler And Fran Garcia. Brahim Diazwho feels like a new signing at Real Madrid meets his old club in this match, having just returned from a two-year loan spell at AC Milan and signing a new contract with Madrid.

Ishmael Bennacer is Milan’s only injury concern; He is still recovering from a serious knee injury sustained in the Champions League semi-final against Inter last May.
