Regis Prograis pro record, titles ahead of Danielito Zorrilla 2023 boxing fight
With victories against some big names at super lightweight, Regis Prograis is a hot commodity in the division. The nimble southpaw has used his skills to wear down or knock out his opponents, resulting in multiple title wins.
Reigning WBC super lightweight champion Prograis is ready to defend the belt against anyone looking to move up.
On June 17, the champion travels to New Orleans to defend the belt against Danielito Zorrilla at the Smoothie King Center. The entire event will be broadcast on DAZN.
Signing a multi-fight contract with Matchroom Boxing in place of Top Rank was a decision Prograis, while challenging, still stands by.
“I looked at both sides and felt comfortable with both sides,” Prograis told Yahoo Sports. “Ultimately, I felt comfortable with Eddie (Hearn) and it seemed like a perfect fit.”

“Eddie came up with a plan that made sense to me. What I want to do now is I want to grab the belts. I want to get all the belts. I want some big fights. That is my goal. I want to get some big fights and get all the belts.”
Other champions in his class include Rolando Romero (WBA), Subriel Matias (IBF) and Teofimo Lopez (WBO and The Ring). Could Prograis add more gold to his collection with a win? He may even be interested in fighting the only man (Josh Taylor) who beat him.
