Rey Vargas vs. O’Shaquie Foster undercard: Complete list of fights before main event in 2023 boxing match
A two-part champion and a longtime super featherweight contender fight to crown a WBC super featherweight champion. In a break in style, Rey Vargas meets O’Shaquie Foster on February 11. The fight takes place at the Alamodome in San Antonio.
Vargas has won gold at super bantamweight and featherweight. He is ready to add to his legacy, which is already rich in gold.

Mario Barrios vs. Jovanie Santiago
In the co-main event Mario Barrios meets Jovanie Santiago for the WBC Continental Americas welterweight title. Barrios (26-2), a WBA Inter-Continental welterweight champion, won the 2019 WBA (Regular) super lightweight title over Botirzhon Akhmedov. He lost the belt to Gervonta Davis in 2021.
Barrios is on a two-fight losing streak, his most recent bout losing to Keith Thurman in February 2022 by unanimous decision.
Santiago (14-2-1) turned pro in 2007. In 2019 he beat Gustavo Vittori for the WBA Fedelatin super lightweight title. He’s also on a two-fight losing streak, losing to Adrien Broner and Gary Antuanne Russell in 2021.

Lenier Pero vs. Viktor Wychryst
The WBA Fedelatin heavyweight title is at stake to open the map. Lenier Pero meets Viktor Vykhryst. Two-time Pan American Games gold medalist Pero (8-0) turned pro in 2019. In 2020 he won the WBA title against Jorge Arias. Pero last fought in August, defeating Joel Caudle by knockout.
2019 European Games gold medalist Vykhryst (11-0) turned pro in 2020. His last fight was a unanimous decision win over Franklin Lawrence in December.
