‘Rusty’ Tiger Woods teases LIV Golf Masters showdown on eve of latest comeback

Tiger Woods admitted he doesn’t know how he will react to seeing the LIV Golf League players play the 87th Masters as he admitted he’s still struggling on the eve of his comeback, 72 holes to run.

Woods, 47, will play in his first event in seven months at the Genesis Invitational on the Riviera this week.

  • The plantar fasciitis he developed is less of a problem now, his right ankle is more of a problem these days
  • He was hitting balls and training from his Jupiter home practically every day
  • Woods believes “ambassador” Rory McIlroy had a “tough” time in 2022, but he was “extraordinary” in helping the PGA Tour navigate life with a new rival
  • He’s playing to win this week and can’t see himself ever going to a golf tournament as a ceremonial golfer

“I know some of our friendships have certainly taken a different path, but we’ll see when that all unfolds. There are still a few months to go before then.”

What about the masters champions dinner, tiger?

forest said:

“The champions dinner will obviously be something to talk about. We as a whole must honor Scottie, Scottie is the winner, it’s his dinner.

“To make sure Scottie is honored properly, but also to recognize the nature of what happened and the people who have left, right where our situation is either legal or emotional, there’s a lot.”
