Ryan Gosling attended the Barbie premiere with a subtle “romantic” nod to absent wife Eva Mendes, and fans are raving about it.
Greta Gerwigs Barbie The release date is here, and since Ryan Gosling’s wife Eva Mendes was sadly unable to attend the world premiere in LA, he made the sweetest gesture to his wife in the form of a necklace.
The star fully embraced that Barbie Movie theme by wearing an all pink outfit to the event along with America Ferrera who also wore a beautiful shade of pink. Co-star and leading lady Margot Robbie opted to gleam in black instead.
Ryan’s outfit was rounded off with a necklace that initially seemed completely harmless. However, keen-eyed fans noticed the jewelry’s “romantic” nature and couldn’t stop talking about it on social media; It wasn’t just any chain, it was one Barbie Font “E” for Eve.

Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: “Ryan Gosling arriving at the Barbie premiere in a stylized necklace with Eva Mendes’ first initial is driving me nuts.”
Another added, “Ryan Gosling wore an ‘E’ necklace around his neck during the Barbie LA premiere and when a reporter asked what that meant he said ‘Eve.'” That’s the cutest, most romantic crap ever .”
Confirm entertainment today On the red carpet, Ryan shared that his wife was absent from the premiere and discussed how his children viewed the film. “It was weird enough for them that I played Ken,” he said, adding, “Maybe I just wouldn’t show them all the kenergy.”
“They’ve seen parts of it and helped me a lot with that, they’ve been a huge inspiration to me,” he concluded.

Ryan and Eva have been together since 2011 and have never publicly confirmed if they are married. They share daughters Esmerelda and Amada and choose to keep their lives as private as possible.
Ryan isn’t active on social media, but Eva does share some personal updates with her Instagram followers. In a recent post, footage from the Barbie movie was shared with a cute caption.
Eva wrote that Greta Gerwig said of Ryan’s performance, “It’s a combination of MARLON BRANDO and GENE WILDER and JOHN BARRYMORE and JOHN TRAVOLTA.”
She concluded, “One of my favorite things the insanely talented and beautiful GRETA GERWIG says in @rollingstone about Mi Hombre, Mi Vida, Mi Amor…RG.”
