Scream VI Has Screened, Here’s What People Are Saying About The Latest Ghostface Movie
It seems like a year ago that the Scream Franchise was revived with a fifth installment, and just like the 1996 film that started it all, the flick was simply titled Scream. Oh wait, it’s been basically a year! Well, it didn’t take long to deliver another one of those horror movies as it was surprisingly long scream VI scheduled to open wide next week. However, some individuals were able to see it early on, and initial reactions to the Ghostface shooting spree in New York City are pouring in on social media.
Starting with CinemaBlend’s own Sean O’Connell shared that scream VI There’s no shortage of gory moments, and that combined with the narrative tension and compelling protagonists makes this a worthy addition to the Scream Canon.

Meagan Navarro of Bloody Disgusting issued the wise suggestion that people should back up theirs scream VI Tickets for the opening weekend as she was delighted with the new addition.

At the more mixed end of the spectrum is the founder of We Live Entertainment Scott Menzel said that while people who enjoyed last year Scream will probably enjoy it scream VI He wasn’t entirely happy with the final product either, although he also conceded that it’s likely to do well at the box office.

Matt Rorabeck from the untitled movie podcast was more positive towards scream VIwhich ranks it as one of the better entries in the film series, as it balances both the horror aspects and the more amusing moments quite well.

Finally colliders Perry Nemiroff was also among them scream VI‘s supporters write that they’re glad Radio Silence Productions got their hands on the franchise, and the final round of Ghostface slaughter is brutal even by the standards of this film series.

Overall it sounds like scream VI is another worthwhile entry Scream‘s history and legacy, although of course mileage will vary. In the meantime, the official Scream Twitter account had a special video message to share with the main cast scream VI Actresses Melissa Barrera and Jenna Ortega aimed at the people who saw the film early.

scream VIThe cast also includes Jasmin Savoy Brown, Jack Champion, Henry Czerny, Mason Gooding, Liana Liberato, Dermot Mulroney, Devyn Nekoda, Tony Revolori, Samara Weaving, Josh Segarra, Hayden Panettiere (whom we haven’t seen in the franchise since scream IV) and Courteney Cox, along with Roger L. Jackson, who continues to voice Ghostface and David Arquette’s Dewey, is honored. Like the last one Scream Directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, the screenplay was written by James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick.
