How to get to the new islands in Slime Rancher 2
You can get to the Ember Valley region by destroying Pin Gordo and Starlight Strand by destroying Cotton Gordo. Only two islands are currently open for exploration slime breeder 2.
How to get to the Ember Valley region
You can find the lava pool and rivers in the Ember Valley. This region is characterized by frequent lava eruptions and water geysers, making it a dangerous but exciting place to explore. In addition to the four Gordos (Rock, Batty, Crystal, and Boom) found in this region, players may also encounter some of the game’s new slime species.

How to get to the Starlight Strand region
This is the second slime breeder 2 new island for you to explore. Starlight Beach looks across from the Ember Valley region. It is full of cliffs, caves and canyons. This is a mysterious place with its unusual plant life and strange rock formations. Also, the Starlight strand is split between coral and lavender palates facing each other. These two regions are also very different, and you can experience changes in the atmosphere as you move from one region to the other. Follow the steps below to get into the Starlight strand.
- Go to the southern area of the map shown in the picture. You will see a narrow path leading to the top of the hill.
- Walk down this path and you will notice the Cotton Gordo.
- Feed them water lettuce until Cotton Gordo bursts.
- Then go into the small cave. You will notice the switch to activate the portal.
- Flick the switch and you will see the light of the portal.
- Come out of the cave and head towards the light and you will find the portal.
- Climb to the top of the portal and you will get to Starlight Strand
How to get to the new areas of Rainbow Island
Aside from the two islands mentioned above, there are regions that you can unlock on Rainbow Island. To unlock these areas you need to destroy Phosphorus Gordo, located in cave tunnels near the Conservatory house. Feed the Gordo fruit and it will pop, giving you access to new expansion areas in the Conservatory. Each area costs a different amount of Newbucks to unlock: the cave and archway cost 1800 Newbucks, while the tidepools cost 3500 Newbucks.
