Sporting and musical fun for Nairn youngsters amid Gaelic Week activities
SPORTING and musical fun were just a few of the family-friendly activities enjoyed by all ages as Nairn celebrated World Gaelic Week.
The celebrations began at the Nairn Community and Arts Center with a Junior Fèis Day of music, sports, arts and culture. Activities included a series of workshops during the day before a family ceilidh in the evening.

Later in the week the celebrations also saw the middle sized Gaelic children from Millbank Primary School take the stage with theatrical performances of Shrek and Snow White’s Wee Warriors.
The various celebrations, which lasted until Sunday, were themed “Coming Together” and organized by Comann nam Pàrant, Inbhir Narainn and Fèis Inbhir Narainn.
