Sporting KC Weekly Schedule: March 21-26, 2023

Sporting Kansas City host reigning Concacaf Champions League winners Seattle Sounders FC at Children’s Mercy Park on Saturday at 7:30 pm CT. Tickets are available online from game sponsor SeatGeek, including General Admission tickets released earlier today.

The Western Conference clash begins at 7:39 p.m. CT and will be streamed live on Apple TV in both English and Spanish for MLS Season Pass subscribers, with pre-game programming beginning at 7:10 p.m. CT. Radio coverage will also air locally in English on ESPN 94.5 FM and 1510 AM and in Spanish on La Grande 1340 AM, with streams available on the Sporting KC app.

CAULDRON TOWN HALL ON THURSDAY

On Thursday, Children’s Mercy Park will host a Town Hall with Peter Vermes for KC Cauldron members. The event begins at 6:00pm at the UMB Field Club with drinks and light snacks. KC Cauldron members can reserve complimentary tickets online and parking is available at Mazuma Plaza.

AUVRAY AND TZIONIS IN INTERNATIONAL USE

Sporting KC Academy midfielder Kaile Auvray remains with the Trinidad and Tobago men’s national team and the 18-year-old will be available for selection when the nation hosts the 2022/ 23 against the Bahamas plays Concacaf Nations League B action. The son of former Sporting KC midfielder Stephane Auvray (2010-11), Auvray joined Sporting KC Academy in January and took part in the preseason at Sporting KC II before he moved to Trinidad & Tobago.

Sporting KC striker Marinos Tzionis has joined the Cyprus men’s national team for the opener of UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying when Cyprus play Scotland at Hampden Park in Glasgow, Scotland on Saturday at 9am CT. Cyprus are aiming to qualify for the UEFA European Championship for the first time in their history.

SEAvSKC AWAY TICKET INQUIRIES OPEN FRIDAY

Sporting Kansas City season pass members and members of Sporting Kansas City fan groups are eligible for complimentary tickets to Sporting away games. Inquiries for SEAvSKC on May 7th will open on Friday and inquiries are also open for SJvSKC on April 15th and NEvSKC on April 22nd. Requests close two weeks before the game or once the allocation of away supporter tickets is reached.

SKC ACADEMY JOURNEY TO SAN ANTONIO

Sporting KC Academy will continue the 2022-23 MLS NEXT season this weekend. The Sporting KC U-14 (12pm Saturday), U-15 (10am Sunday) and U-17 (10am Sunday) travel to play San Antonio FC. The U-15 (Saturday 2pm), U-17 (Saturday 2pm) and U-19 (Saturday 12pm) also play Rio Grande Valley FC in San Antonio. Follow @SKCAcademy on Twitter for updates throughout the season.

SKC II LAUNCHES MLS NEXT PRO CAMPAIGN ON SUNDAY

Sporting KC II will kick off the 2023 team’s MLS NEXT Pro campaign against Colorado Rapids 2 Sunday at 8pm CT at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colorado. The game will be streamed live on Apple TV for fans to follow @SportingKCII on Twitter for updates throughout the season.

SPORTING INVITATION OF THE NEXT GENERATION THIS WEEKEND

Sporting KC will host the fifth annual Sporting Next-Gen Invitational starting Friday, which will feature many of the top boys’ and girls’ youth teams from across the region in the U-8 to U-15 age groups. The tournament will feature more than 225 teams, with games taking place at the Compass Minerals National Performance Center, Compass Minerals Sporting Fields and the Central Bank Sporting Complex.
