Super Bowl fans SLAM celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay for ‘worming his way’ pitch side
Super Bowl fans took to Twitter on Sunday to slam Gordon Ramsay after he performed at the sporting event.
The 56-year-old celebrity chef left viewers baffled as to why he was allowed on the sidelines and even caught up with some of the famous players.
Gordon appeared in high spirits as he rubbed shoulders with the A-listers and shared snaps on his Instagram.
One Twitter user wrote: “Why is Gordon Ramsay at the Super Bowl? What is a British chef doing at a football game?”.
While another asked: “Why the heck is Gordon Ramsay at the Super Bowl?” and a third complained to Gordon that he got everywhere.
One fan said: “Nothing beats celebrities bucking the spotlight, it’s disgusting.”
Another commented on a photo of Gordon shaking hands with player Travis Kelce: “You work hard and train hard and then you gotta meet the frigging Gordon Ramsay.”
Led by quarterback Patrick Mahomes, the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35 to win Super Bowl 57.
Nine-time Grammy winner Rihanna also confirmed she’s pregnant with her second child after surprising fans with a baby bump during her highly anticipated halftime show.
The 34-year-old, who gave birth to her first child just nine months ago, caused a social media outcry as she took to the stage and rubbed her stomach in front of a global audience of millions at Glendale’s State Farm Stadium. Arizona.
A star representative confirmed the baby news shortly after the show ended.
It’s her first live television appearance since 2018, where she shared the stage with DJ Khaled to sing Wild Thoughts at the Grammy Awards.
Rihanna kicked off the show on a platform high above the field belting out her single “B**** Better Have My Money.” She wore a baggy, scarlet jumpsuit that hid her curves and was belted loosely.
Underneath, however, she wore a skin-tight bodysuit that accentuated her burgeoning baby bump.
She shares her first child, who was born on May 13, 2022, with rapper A$AP Rocky, who kept a low profile at the event. The two have kept their growing family under the radar, and so far neither musician has shared their child’s name.
The hitmaker paired the suit with a pair of chunky red trainers. The platform on which she was suspended then lowered to the field where she joined a crowd of dancers in white on stage.
She kept her dance moves to a minimum, leaving the backup dancers to fill the gap.
Rihanna stuck to the hits and didn’t reveal any new songs during her performance, which included 12 songs. She freaked out the crowd when she switched to Where Have You Been, followed by the hit song Only Girl (In The World).
We Found Love, Rude Boy and their hit work followed, although their collaborator Drake did not appear on the later song. She continued with Wild Thoughts and Pour It Up.
The hitmaker made some controversial song choices, including an excerpt of her verse from rapper Kanye West’s All Of The Lights, and she also performed part of Jay-Z’s Run This Town, which also starred West in his original version.
West fell out of favor after making numerous anti-Semitic comments, including reportedly praising Adolf Hitler.
Rihanna ended her performance with the double hit of Umbrella and then Diamonds to finish.
Forgoing some of the pyrotechnics of recent Super Bowl halftime performances, she apparently bet her fans would be happy to see her without the added theatrics.
The superstar, who was born Robyn Rihanna Fenty, hasn’t released a solo album since January 2016. Her only solo music in the last seven years came in October when she released Lift Me Up as a tribute to the late actor Chadwick Boseman for the Marvel film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which earned the singer an Oscar nomination.
Despite not being in the spotlight for most of the game, Rihanna’s partner A$AP Rocky (real name: Rakim Mayers) put on a sweet show by showing that he was cheering for his love.
The rapper took the field in a black jacket paying tribute to the Work singer, which showed off her tattooed hand rising from a city while holding a soccer ball.
His jacket also featured an American flag and NFL logo, and he also rocked a Fenty cap to support Rihanna’s brands.
Rihanna’s pregnancy reveal came as a surprise as she previously told Apple Music’s Nadeska Alexis ahead of the performance that she had been hesitant to sign up for the performance because she had recently given birth to a child.
