Super Bowl halftime show 2023 live updates, reviews on Rihanna & other performances

After five years of abstinence, fans get Rihanna for 13 minutes on Sunday.

Rihanna was selected as the halftime performer for the 2023 Super Bowl in September, giving fans a pause in the Chiefs-Eagles action to re-introduce herself to the world.

Rihanna last performed live in January 2018 and has not released a new album since 2016. To say her performance on Sunday during Super Bowl 57 is highly anticipated would seem like a bit of an understatement. Of course, Rihanna knows this too, which prompts a ton of research ahead of Sunday.

The superstar said Thursday that she has 39 different potential setlists for this Sunday’s performance, which is sure to offer endless possibilities once she takes the stage.
