The night before the game on Easter Saturday (April 8th), the group will host a Leitrim show at The Rambling House on Katonah Avenue in the Bronx.
“We are trying to build a network of people, including young business people in the US, who are interested in hearing about the investment and employment opportunities in County Leitrim,” explains former IDA Director and Leitrim native Padraic White.
Since the start of the Covid pandemic, Ireland’s least populous county has been on an upward trajectory, fueled in part by an influx of professionals able to work from Lovely Leitrim. Tourism Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands campaign has also attracted a record number of tourists to the county.

Joining the business delegation in the Big Apple are two of the county’s leading companies: software company Cora Systems and medical technology innovator VistaMed. Both are keen to attract professionals to positions in their growing companies – either Americans or Irish-American returnees.
Representing Cora Systems, which sells its software products in 53 countries and employs 53 people in the US. will be Chief Engineer Keith Dimmock, a Yorkshireman who married a Leitrim woman and then moved to her home county where he joined the burgeoning software company. However, Keith’s duties extend beyond pitching for Cora Systems at the investment reception, the next day he will be pitchside at Gaelic Park fulfilling his role as kit-man for Leitrim’s senior football team.
A great achievement Cora Systems 👍
