The Ashes 2023: How to buy tickets to see England host Australia in June and July

England are aiming to win The Ashes for the first time since 2015 after comprehensive defeats in last year’s series in Australia – and first tickets for the June and July 2023 Tests have been released.

Voting for some of the games opened on 21 September 2022, allowing fans to see the competition in England for the first time since a 2–2 draw in the men’s edition allowed Australia to retain the trophy in 2019 .

“There are few events as special in English sport as an Ashes home series,” said England legend Clare Connor, who spoke ahead of the series in her role as interim chief executive of the England and Wales Cricket Board.

Here are the venues where The Ashes will take place in 2023 and what we know about ticket sales and prices.

The Ashes 2023: How to buy tickets

1st Test: Edgbaston (16-20 June)

Warwickshire say they anticipate high demand for the first test in the series and are advising supporters to purchase a membership to give themselves the best chance of securing a ticket.

Voting for the promotion is now open.

2nd Test: Lord’s (June 28 – July 2)

Lord’s has announced that their public voting will open on October 24 and encourages people to subscribe to get the latest updates.

3rd Test: Headingley (July 6-10)

Yorkshire are preparing to host the third Test and a One Day International between England and Ireland on September 20.

Supporters can fill out a form to participate in the club’s international vote.

4th Test: Old Trafford (19-23 July)

Lancashire is allowing fans to register their interest in tickets now and take the opportunity to promote the benefits of membership early access.

5th Test: The Oval (July 27-31)

Voting is also open to be at Surrey’s Oval to see what could be the crucial final Test of the 2023 Ashes series.

As with other venues, fans can claim their right to attend the Test and other international matches at the Oval by visiting the dedicated tickets page.

How to buy tickets for the women’s Ashes 2023

Excitement mounts over July’s three women’s caps as England women seek revenge on Australia.

You can now vote for Bristol (July 12), Ageas Bowl (July 16) and Taunton (July 18).

How much do Ashes tickets cost?

Ticket prices have not yet been announced, but they ranged from around £39 ($43) to £353 ($388) for the 2021 men’s series.

From the fourth day there is usually a price reduction. Tickets for the fifth day are not sold in advance.
