The latest Moto G Stylus 5G of 2023 may be gearing up towards a launch
Earlier this month we brought you an alleged leak of the latest Moto G Stylus smartphone Motorola. This line of smartphones typically consists of slightly larger units with integrated styluses and a focus on performance, allowing users to express themselves through writing, drawing, or doodling. While it’s not exactly a flagship, it is Moto G Stylus of 2022 is a mid-range that definitely deserves its place on ours List of the best Motorola phones. Even if 2022 still feels fresh in our minds, it seems that Motorola is preparing the latest version of the G Stylus series for launch: the Moto G Stylus 5G 2023. This is triggered by a report from MySmartPrice via an FCC (Federal Communications Commission) listing that includes the title smartphone.
The FCC documents refer to the latest Moto G Stylus via three model numbers: XT2315-1, XT2315-4 and XT2315-5. While the listing doesn’t reveal too many details, it does let us know what the battery capacity and charging speed will be like, while also confirming that the headset will indeed support 5G.

So, without further ado, the 2023 Moto G Stylus will have a 5,000mAh battery and support charging speeds of up to 10W. These are indeed the same capabilities we saw on the 2022 device. So if no changes have been made here, what can we expect from the latest G Stylus?
That sounds like a great opportunity for a quick recap of all the information that’s been trundling through the rumor mill:
- A screen with narrower bezels than the 2022 model
- 6GB of memory
- 256GB internal memory
- Dual camera system with a 50MP main unit
- LED flash unit
- Centered selfie snapper with hole punch
- 3.5mm headphone jack
- The titular stylus has its own slot on the bottom of the phone
Well, it’s a solid start, but we’re excited to learn more. The 2022 Moto G Stylus had a great screen, so it would be interesting to see if Motorola will improve it in any way. Also, the 2022 model had 8GB of RAM as opposed to the 6GB we’ve heard about, which could be indicative of an upgraded CPU.
And what about those ominous three model numbers? Only time will tell and with time we will surely see more leaks about the upcoming smartphone.
The 2023 Motorola G Stylus is expected to be launched in two color options: Black Beauty and Crystal Grey. While we don’t have a definitive date for an announcement just yet, we can remind you that the 2022 model launched in the first quarter of last year.
