TGI Fridays is now open in Surfers and Holy Burger Batman, we’ll be tickled red, white and blue, ya’ll!

And let it be known that we’re not just talking about any TGI Fridays here, that is The Australasian flagship restaurant, so brace yourself for more fanfare than you can stick with a whole rack of ribs.

This American hospitality icon, right at home in Paradise Center’s newly revamped beachfront dining district, is throwing everything she’s got at the epic grand opening celebrations, which begin today.

Call your burger pal and wingman for not one, but four days of buns, we mean fun…but actually buns too…guaranteed to please the whole family, from your macaroni-crazy mini-me to yours nacho-taking Nanna.

Line up on the Esplanade, surrounding streets, or at the Paradise Center between noon and 3pm today to see the cheerleaders from TGI Fridays in action, and srsly, isn’t this the ultimate in American frivolity? Better yet, they’ll be armed with FREE dental floss* and TGI Fridays treats* to give away, and are we too old to win free dental floss and ask for a friend?

Who isn’t keen on happy hour on a Friday, and a sillier question has never been asked. Enjoy a drink from the Classics, Fridays Favourites, Born in NYC and Ultimate Cocktails ranges or the limited edition Super Spesh cocktail, launching exclusively at TGI Fridays Surfers Paradise #RubberArmTwisted. The aptly named Surfing is hip is a refreshment splash made with Malibu, pineapple juice, Prosecco and a pineapple garnish and if we were a cocktail by the sea, this would be it.

Make yourself comfortable because at 8pm the local Musos Vanessa Krumma duo will be there pumping out some bangers so you can enjoy every single moment.

Then be one of the first Hunji people to wait outside the restaurant at 11am on Saturday morning for a FREE* Signature Whiskey Glaze Single Stack Burgers. The Grass-fed beef patties, coated in signature Jack Daniel’s glaze, topped with American-style melted cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles and roasted garlic aioli is a taste experience and for us the one roll. Pair it with some drinks overlooking the big blue and LBH they had us whiskey glazed.

Make yourself comfortable on Saturday night as DJ Jatrixx will be providing the tunes from 8pm until late at night.

This brings us to Sunday, the ultimate day of family fun, with a balloon spin from 12pm to 3pm, plus a FREE* game for the little ones. If you don’t make it this weekend, firstly cancel your original plans because this is more important, and secondly the famous all-day dining menu will be available on Friday from 10:30am – late seven days a week. We’re talking about classics like finger licking Signature wings, juicy burgers, fries, wraps, nutritious bowls, salads, fresh Mex dishes, delicious steaks and slow-cooked flame-grilled ribs with your choice of topping.
