Triton Poker Vietnam 2023: GG Super Millions results, champion, leaderboard, prizemoney
Webster Lim won his second Triton Poker title by winning the GG Super Millions event at the Super High Roller Series in Vietnam.
The Malaysian beat a record 166 entrants, including 44 newbies, to win a first prize of $960,000 – beating Czech online crusher Roman Hrabec heads-up.
Lim adds the GG Super Millions trophy to the €50,000 No Limit Short Deck Hold’em event he won at last year’s Triton Festival in Madrid.

The heads-up between Lim and Hrabec saw the Malaysian with a strong 2-1 chip advantage over his Czech opponent.
Lim gradually wore Hrabec down as the Czech didn’t hit as many flops as his opponent in the final stages.

Eventually, Hrabec was forced to go virtually all-in with seven-high when Lim knocked him out with a great call, holding only third pair on a paired board.
In the next hand, Hrabec had to go all-in with seven-three and was holding less than a big blind when Lim’s king-ten off-suit made a higher flush on the river to secure the title.

Overnight leader Jonathan Jaffe made the final table but was eliminated first, with Michael Soyza following shortly thereafter.
New Zealand’s Sosia Zhang was heartbroken as she put her chips ahead preflop against Lim with A5 vs. KJ, but after an ace and king came on the flop, she was eliminated when a jack on the river gave her Malaysian opponent two -Pair.
American duo Nick Petrangelo and Seth Davies were eliminated in fifth and fourth place respectively, before compatriot Chris Brewer bluffed his chips into a trap set by Lim.
Staying less than a big blind after Lim’s trip aces picked his five-high bluff near the jam, Brewer was eventually eliminated to set up the heads-up fight between Lim and Hrabec.
Several stars busted before the money including Sam Greenwood, Jason Koon, Michael Addamo, Fedor Holz, Isaac Haxton and Justin Bonomo.
