TUNE IN: Sporting and Real Salt Lake renew rivalry this Wednesday on Apple TV
Ten seasons after their 2013 MLS Cup clash at Children’s Mercy Park, Sporting Kansas City host Real Salt Lake at 7:30 p.m. CT Wednesday.
The Western Conference clash will be broadcast on Apple TV in English and Spanish for MLS Season Pass subscribers (sign up for a one-month free trial). In addition, local radio coverage will be broadcast on Sports Radio 810 WHB and La Grande 1340 AM with streams on the Sporting KC app and all the action will be carried by pub partners on the Sporting Pub Network.
The midweek game will be available via MLS Season Pass on Apple TV in English (Kevin Egan and Kyndra de St. Aubin) and Spanish (Raul Guzman and Sonny Guadarrama). The MLS Season Pass also allows fans to choose to listen to Sporting’s local radio station as they preview the game with play-by-play commentator Nate Bukaty and analyst Jacob Peterson. The pre-game show is scheduled to begin at 7:10 PM CT and the broadcast will end with a post-game recap to recap all the action.
Fans in over 100 countries and regions can watch the MLS Season Pass through the Apple TV app, available on Apple devices, smart TVs, Roku, Amazon and Google streaming devices, gaming consoles and web at tv.apple. com. Fans can subscribe to the MLS Season Pass in the Apple TV app for the rest of the year for $49, or $14.99 per month. Apple TV+ subscribers can sign up for the rest of the year for $39 or $12.99 per month at a special price. In addition, fans can try the MLS Season Pass for one month free of charge.
A subscription to the MLS Season Pass is included for Sporting Kansas City Season Ticket members, and through Family Sharing, up to six family members can share a subscription using their own Apple ID and password. To subscribe to the MLS Season Pass, customers must update to iOS 16.2 or later, iPadOS 16.2 or later, tvOS 16.2 or later, and macOS 13.1 or later.
Fans can also enjoy the action at any of the club’s partner pubs on the Sporting Pub Network, including No Other Pub (1370 Grand Blvd.) in the Kansas City Power & Light District. No Other Pub’s game day specials begin at 6:30 pm CT, highlighted by $4 house meals, $5 fountains and 50% off select entrees.
SKCvRSL will be available in English on Sports Radio 810 WHB (Nate Bukaty and Jacob Peterson) and in Spanish on La Grande 1340 AM (Diego Gutierrez, Emmily Infante & Josue Orantes), with both stations streaming live via the Sporting KC app.
New for 2023, as part of the MLS Season Pass on Apple TV, fans in the US and Canada will have the option to select the radio audio broadcast tone for Sporting KC home games.
