West Ham vs Fiorentina Europa Conference League final 2023 referee: Officials in charge of European showpiece
David Moyes is keen to add a European trophy to West Ham’s cabinet as he leads the Premier League side to the 2023 Europa Conference League final against Fiorentina.
The Hammers manager has two career silver medals, the 1999/00 Football League Second Division title with Preston North End and the 2013 FA Community Shield with Manchester United.
Fiorentina will want to use the sad Coppa Italia final defeat by Inter Milan to spur them on to their first European title since 1961. A defeat in the final would mean that the Italian team will not participate in any continental competition next season.

Carlos del Cerro Grande has been tasked with officiating the 2023 Europa Conference League Finals at Fortuna Arena. The 47-year-old has plenty of experience and refereed the Champions League quarter-finals between Inter and Benfica earlier this season, but it will be his first UEFA competition final.

Del Cerro Grande has been an international referee since 2013 and will lead a team of Spanish colleagues and a Portuguese referee as VAR support.
It is to be hoped that the scenes after the Europa League final, when referee Anthony Taylor was severely criticized by outgoing coach Jose Mourinho and attacked at the airport by Roma fans, will not be repeated.
