What channel is Chiefs vs. Commanders on today? Time, TV schedule for NFL Week 2 preseason game

The Chiefs and Commanders will play in Week 2 of the 2022 NFL preseason, and each team will feature a battle for key offensive positions on Saturday.

Both Kansas City and Washington are dealing with some uncertainty as the season begins.

For the Chiefs, Clyde Edwards-Helaire was a first-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, but he has yet to live up to his high-round billing. Veterans Jerick McKinnon and Ronald Jones battle with him for depth chart placement, while rookie speedster Isiah Pacheco could have a bigger-than-expected role in his first NFL season.

In the meantime, commanders seemed to have figured things out better at the position, but Antonio Gibson fumbled in his preseason debut and has played against special teams in recent weeks. The commanders gave Brian Robinson Jr. a pick in the third round so he could try to take some carries away from Gibson and turn Washington’s backfield into a real committee.

Of course, fans will also be focused on Carson Wentz’s performance with the Commanders. He’s had a mixed camp but was a solid 10-of-13 for 74 yards on his preseason debut. First round pick Jahan Dotson will be worth watching as he tries to sync up with Wentz as well.

Meanwhile, Chiefs fans are hoping to get a glimpse of Patrick Mahomes, but will also be keeping a close eye on George Karlaftis and Trent McDuffie as the two first-round picks look to play a big role in Kansas City’s defense.

Here’s everything you need to know to watch the Chiefs vs Commanders game.
