What time does the NASCAR race start today? TV schedule, channel for 2023 Atlanta race
William Byron is on the road to success.
The Hendrick Motorsports talent is on a two-race win streak, cementing his status as one of the sport’s most exciting young talents.
But that may not be reflected in the overall rating. Byron, Alex Bowman, Kyle Larson and Justin Haley were docked 100 regular season points and 10 playoff points after their crews were found to have made changes to their racers’ sipes. That pushed Byron from fourth place in the points standings to 29th place.
It’s admittedly not a great place. Still, victories are victories. And Byron is as hot as any driver in the Cup Series.
He’s hoping to complement his sparkling run with a strong showing at Atlanta Motor Speedway, a venue he did well at last year – Byron won last year’s Ambetter Health 400 iteration.
If he can show another ace on The Fastest Track in the South, it will be hard to deny his status as one of this year’s biggest contenders.
