“My condition is good. I’m ready to go,” Franco said via Japan Times. “I just feel like I need to dominate more than last time. I feel like there will come a point in the fight where I hurt him. So if I hurt him, I’ll try to take advantage of it. (I’m going to) just be smart, get my shots right and do what I do, and that means go in and fight and put on a good show.”

The six-fight winning streak for 34-year-old Ioka ended after the draw against Franco. The then-WBO super flyweight champion was originally scheduled to defend against Junto Nakatani, but dropped the belt to face Franco again. The Japanese star hopes the risk pays off.
