Joshua Roy had four points and Brennan Othmann added three to the win. Nine skaters scored multiple points and 14 players made the scorer list. Dylan Garand secured victory on the net on his World Junior debut.

Czech Republic come into play after losing 4-3 to Finland in a penalty shoot-out. It was Czech Republic’s second one-goal game in as many competitions of the tournament. At the start it prevailed 5:4 against Slovakia.
Captain Jan Mysak leads the Czech side. The Canadiens draft pick has three goals and one assist in two games in the tournament.
