Which NBA players have Under Armour shoe contracts? Stephen Curry, Joel Embiid lead full list

It seemed that just a few years ago, Under Armor was ready to give Nike a challenge in the footwear and apparel sales department.

In 2015, the company had total sales of $1.2 billion through the end of August, surpassing Adidas. Helping the sales surge was the company poaching Stephen Curry from competitor Nike and then seeing the Warriors Guard’s meteoric rise to a championship, boosting sales of its Under Armor Curry 2 sneaker.

However, they couldn’t keep up that momentum, and sales have been declining in recent years.

That hasn’t stopped the company from continuing to sign NBA players and giving them something they might not get from either Nike or Adidas: a more personalized partnership experience.

For his part, Curry is no longer just a member of Under Armor but has been given his own sub-division. What other players are on the Under Armor roster?

Which NBA players have an Under Armor Signature shoe?

As you’d expect, only the top two names on Under Armor’s list have a signature sneaker.

Curry is on the 10th iteration of his line while Embiid introduced the Embiid One back in 2020. Leaks have surfaced on a shoe that was supposed to be the Embiid Two but was never released at retail.

Curry first signed with Under Armor in 2013, meaning 2023 will be the celebration of a decade with Under Armour.

What is the curry brand?

Legend has it that Curry left Nike in 2013 partly because he felt underappreciated compared to some of the other names on the Nike roster, and there may also have been a problem with a PowerPoint presentation (ugh!).

Since then, the partnership with Under Armor has been fruitful for both sides. In 2020, the company even gave Curry the Michael Jordan treatment — its own subdivision.

Curry Brand includes footwear, apparel and accessories, with each category supported by Under Armour’s powerful product innovations.

“Curry Brand is about doing good in everything we do,” Curry said at the time.

“I’ve tried to embody that in my own actions and I think it’s also something that other people can really stand behind, no matter where they are in life or what their goals are, sport or anything else. We all have the ability to influence the next person and give back in some way, and that’s more important now than ever.”

Curry’s ninth signature sneaker was the first under his Curry Brand umbrella.

Since launching Curry Brand, they have also expanded into golf footwear and apparel, as well as running and lifestyle sneakers.
