Who holds the record for most points scored in NBA All-Star Game? Jayson Tatum takes crown from Anthony Davis
The NBA All-Star Game always showcases the league’s best talent, but with so many stars on the floor, we didn’t see the individual point explosions you might expect from a pickup game.
In NBA history, there have only been three players to break the 50-point threshold in a single All-Star game, and both have happened within the last five years. In fact, there are only seven players who have ever scored more than 40 points in a single All-Star game.
While multiple All-Stars have accumulated an impressive number of points over the years, the way players share the wealth in the All-Star game has prevented any kind of 60 or 70 point eruptions that we seen in regular NBA games the last few seasons.
Get a look at the NBA’s all-time top scorers in All-Star Games history and in a single All-Star Game.

Who has the most points in NBA All-Star Game history?
LeBron James holds the all-time record for most points scored in NBA All-Star Game history. His 426 points is over 100 more than the second-place player – the late, great Kobe Bryant.
As James continues to rack up all-star appearances towards the end of his career, he will add to his record in the same manner as the all-time record in the regular season.
James is one of two active players on the list, as Kevin Durant ranks fifth in All-Star Games history with 250 points. Durant is just 41 points away from Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant, who take second place.
