Who is in the Little League World Series? Updated list of teams to qualify for 2022 LLWS bracket

The future of baseball is on display in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania for one of the sport’s most popular events. The Little League World Series is back and prepared to be unlike any of its predecessors.

The Little League World Series 2022 is the 75th edition of the competition. The tournament will now feature 20 teams, expanding from the 16-team format it has used for much of its existence.

This year’s tournament is significant for a different reason. The COVID-19 pandemic canceled the event in 2020, while in 2021 only American teams attended the LLWS. But this year, fans can see the next generation of young talent from countries around the world, including Japan and Mexico, among other countries.

All in all, it should be an exciting competition. And with fans back in the stands – they too missed proceedings last year due to COVID-19 – the magic of Williamsport should be a little more tangible this time.
