Women’s World Cup 2023 Group F table, standings, schedule and fixtures
In Group F of the Women’s World Cup, football fans get ready for another heavyweight duel right at the start of the tournament, with Brazil and France meeting in the group stage.
They will also face Jamaica and World Cup debutants Panama, but all eyes will be on Brisbane on July 29 when the two football giants face off.
Brazil will look to get deep into the tournament at the legendary Marta’s final World Cup, while France are aiming for a place in the semi-finals for the first time since 2011 and will be hoping new coach Herve Renard can guide them towards that goal.
Jamaica will be a tough test for both teams, as shown by their opening 0-0 draw with France, while Panama, underdogs in their first-ever World Cup, have nothing to lose.

Who will win Group F?
Bookmakers are forecasting a direct penalty shoot-out between Brazil and France in the battle for Group F victory and a theoretically easier draw in the knockout stages, with the second round of group stage play set to be crucial in this race.
Jamaica and Panama have little hope of surprising the world and leading the group, so difficult is it to defeat two top teams in women’s football.

Who qualifies from Group F?
Brazil and France are expected to have little trouble qualifying for Group F as Jamaica and Panama are unlikely to be able to compete given their strength and experience.
Jamaica might be able to make a splash and sneak in, but for that they would need to win at least one of their duels against the big ones while also picking up at least a point in one of their other games.

Group F round of 16 matches
The Group F teams that succeed in the group stage then have to play in the knockout stages against one of two Group H teams consisting of Germany, Colombia, South Korea and Morocco.
Germany, one of the tournament favourites, is certainly a side to avoid but the others in the group appear beatable and offer a superb chance of qualifying for the Quarters.
