WPL 2023: Live scores and how to watch in India

For the first time in India, women will have their own blockbuster T20 league, with the inaugural Women’s Premier League (WPL) starting in early March.

The competition starts with five teams and features many of cricket’s biggest names including Australian World Cup heroes Ash Gardner and Meg Lanning, as well as many local Indian stars.

The WPL started on March 6th and ends with the finals on March 26th.

What is IPL for women?

Women’s IPL – going through those Women’s Premier League or WPL – is a new T20 tournament taking place in India.

Five teams will be battling for the first trophy and the competition will host some of the biggest names in women’s cricket including Ash Gardner, Meg Lanning, Harmanpreet Kaur and Nat Sciver-Brunt.

When is the WPL?

The Women’s Premier League started on 4th of March with a clash between the Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Giants.

The semi-finals will take place on March 24th ahead of the finals of the inaugural WPL season 26th of March.
