Xenoblade Chronicles 3: How To Farm Money
Players have multiple options for farming gold Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Gold itself is far more common than the nopon coins which are the other form of currency XC3. Gold can be used to purchase accessories, but is completely useless in crafting. Despite this, gold farming is extremely easy if players take the time to explore the many areas of Aionios.
Compared to the Nopon Coins in Xenoblade Chronicles 3, Gold may not be that useful for some players. Most upgrades and crafting can be done with the right materials or by paying for Nopon Coins. Like everything else in the game, gold has a purpose and makes it a useful resource in its own way.

The easiest way to get gold is by fighting. Each time Noah and his party join the battle, they receive a random amount of gold if they win. While it’s entirely possible to get into the thousands by defeating enemies, the process can be long and tedious. This is where these money management methods come into play:
container
container are rubbish bins from which a yellow ray of light protrudes. Upon opening there are various items such as Nopon Coins and of course Gold. Containers are typically hidden and require players to uncover more of the map where they appear as a yellow trash can icon. When players get close enough, one of the characters will spot the container and rush to it.
In later areas of Xenoblade 3, Containers are usually placed in areas that cannot be reached. These require players to unlock a specific game mechanic, such as: B. the zip lines. An example is the container in Colony 4, which is on top of a building that has a zipline attached. While players can reach the area where the zipline starts, it will be impossible to use it until they unlock Juniper of Colony Tau. Other containers can stand on sand dunes or climbing walls.
Later players will be unlocked Dropped Supplies, which can be discovered by a party member. hold down ZR when prompted to track it on the map. Looting dropped supplies gives Nopon coins, rare items (like gems) and of course gold.
Engage in a skirmish
While exploring, players may encounter a red icon with interlocking blades. If they are close enough, they can hold on ZR button and see two groups of enemies fighting each other. Get close enough and players will be prompted to choose a side. This is referred to as a skirmish.
During a skirmish, players will team up with one group to defeat the other with promises of rewards. As most would expect, some groups will award a cash/gold reward in addition to Bonus Exp. Fight with them and win to get the money. However, not all skirmishes offer money. As the players fight their way through Xenoblade 3, they will find that some Skirmish rewards have affinity points instead. Players can withdraw from a skirmish simply by refusing to take a side.
Defeat elite monsters
There are different types of enemies Xenoblade 3. For example, Lucky Enemies that have better item drops are identified by their glittery name/level. Enemies with blue markers in their names are considered elite enemies. These are more challenging enemies that may take longer to defeat – especially if players are underleveled. However, this gives you a 350% increase in cash rewards, making them worth the challenge.
This also applies to unique monsters, which are monsters with orange nametags. These are far more challenging than elite monsters, so make sure you lure them away from any nearby enemies before fighting. When you’re starting out, it’s best to avoid unique monsters and just go after the elite monsters when farming gold.
cook meals
Eating a meal has one or more effects for a certain amount of time. For example, some meals increase enemies’ gold drop by 15% or 20%. While players can have Manana cook a meal for free as long as they have the right ingredients, other meals can be purchased from Colonies for a few hundred gold.
Once players have liberated Colony 4, they can purchase the Mixed-Veg Torpedo Wrap from the Canteen. This meal gives 15% gold boost from enemies for 26 minutes. Be sure to check out the canteens of each liberated colony to see what they have to offer.
Where to spend money
Money can be used to buy accessories from a Colony Commissary Shop or Nopon caravans. Most accessories can be easily overshadowed at the start by gems that players unlock midway through Chapter 2. However, thanks to their various effects, they are easy to equip. Some increase critical hit rate, while others increase the duration of canceled attacks. One idea is to stock up on gold and save it for better accessories locked behind Colony Commissary Shops.
Gold can also be used to “buy” rare items processor at Ferronis pods. The items generated by the Fabricators are random, but it’s a quick way to get materials without having to hunt for them in the wild.
