XFL scores Week 1: Live updates, results, highlights from Saturday’s games
The XFL is finally back.
The Spring Football League seemed like a strong option for fans looking for more gridiron action when it returned in 2020 after a two-decade hiatus. However, the pandemic and Vince McMahon’s bankruptcy filing ended the league’s second edition and raised questions about its future.
Hopefully the league returns for the third time on Saturday. The XFL is now owned by Dwayne Johnson and Dany Garcia and their first week of play is in progress. The league is similar to the last edition, even with some cities and team names staying the same. All games will be broadcast over the ESPN family of networks.
