XFL scores Week 2: Live updates, results, highlights from Saturday’s games
The XFL season resumes with three more games this weekend following the matchup between the Battlehawks and the Sea Dragons.
The Defenders and Vipers are set for a standalone fight in the West on Saturday. Vegas have suffered a tough loss to the Renegades after dropping 19 straight points to lose a sizable lead. The Defenders rode their defense – and one of the XFL’s best fanbases – to a home win over the Sea Dragons in Week 1.

With both matchups on Sunday, the stakes are high in Week 2 as well. Both the Brahmas and Guardians are trying to avoid a 0-2 start. They meet in Orlando for the Guardians home game. The Renegades and Roughnecks, both 1-0, look like two of the strongest teams in the league early on. Sunday night’s fight will go a long way towards determining who finishes at the top of the standings.
It’s also a duel between veteran coaches, with former Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops taking on longtime NFL defensive guru Wade Phillips.
