Building A Sovereign Bitcoin Life – Bitcoin Magazine
On August 25, Plan B Passport hosted the fifth underground citadel at Bitcoin Commons in Austin, Texas. If you weren’t able to attend the event with the highest signals of the year, this article is for you. It had the highest attendance and retention rate we have ever seen – the Bitcoin Commons/Austin Bitcoin Community venue was packed from start to finish and even beyond the end of the event.
Underground Citadel is designed as the best place for bitcoiners to connect with like-minded people where they can build their own tribes. Here is a little background on how this event came about:
Construction of the underground citadel
We all know it: You get orange pills and you learn about a fraudulent money system. Then you start questioning all the other things you were lied to about. You enter a phase where you’re going down all sorts of rabbit holes while wanting everything to burn down. But once you get past that anger phase, you realize that life can still be beautiful and you focus on creating the life you desire.
The Underground Citadel is the conference where we discuss the solutions that will help us build the life we deserve, outside of the flawed system we currently find ourselves in. We invite participants to come and find the signal that comes from Bitcoin and learn how to create a beautiful life.
find the beautiful life
For this installment of Underground Citadel, we’ve started with the foundation, the basics, physical security, and the derivatives of it – situational awareness, mental tactics, and threat detection. How to improve your ability to perceive your surroundings and counteract potential threats.
We delved into the ultimate sovereign individual toolkit, including survival instincts, deterrence/pre-emptive strikes, deception, evacuation, extreme focus and awareness, reality-based training, and perhaps the integration of some medical schooling. In any dangerous situation, you want to create the mental model of appearing “big and strong” to deter potential threats and make a habit of “breaking your routine.”
Then we went hunting. Some might say that we have even declined as a society, as most people these days can’t find enough food for themselves other than going to a grocery store, farmer’s market, etc. We’ve explored why we should hunt, what kills you should learn, and why paying attention is one of the most important skills you can learn. Funnily enough, presenter Jon Wayne Taylor went on to explain how inefficient hunting is compared to domestication, farming and trapping. This is until you run out of other options, of course. He later explained why learning tracking, trolling, marksmanship, and butchering skills should help expand your hunting knowledge.
Then it was on to the home birth. This topic seemed to be the most mind boggling for bitcoiners. We’ve had this theme in our mind since the first Underground Citadel event, but weren’t sure how the male-dominated audience would react. We really appreciate how bitcoiners welcomed this talk.
We discussed why we have come to not trusting our bodies to do one of the main jobs it was built to do. Why did we allow the medical system to take over and anesthetize women during childbirth? As Bitcoinersm, we preach “don’t trust, verify”, so people should do their own research as to why they are having a baby in a hospital or not and educate themselves on what is best for their scenario, but doctors won’t let them do it to have this beautiful experience under fluorescent lights in a stressful environment. In the healthcare system, you are the consumer and you should have the power.
Then, of course, we had to deal with flag theory and jurisdictional arbitrage. In this underground citadel, we’ve looked at how bitcoin actually enables freedom of movement, and as a group of people who value illicit money, we should also value permissionless movement. As of now, we are being born into a non-consensual monopoly, and in a fiat world we are powerless to hold governments accountable. Money printers and greedy “leaders” control the world. However, under a Bitcoin standard, people become customers and governments are forced to compete with each other by offering the best services at the best prices.
But that’s precisely why until then, we’re going to focus on “investment migration,” the term we use in the jurisdiction arbitrage industry to describe immigration programs that involve investment or donations as a basis for acquiring a visa, residency permit, or passport. Because of this, we encourage people to incorporate jurisdictional arbitrage, or flag theory, into their lives. At Plan B Passport, we define “flag theory” as a concept of limiting your dependence on a particular state by “stacking flags” in jurisdictions that benefit you in a variety of ways. We like to apply a market and capitalism lens to the way governments currently function and show how bitcoin has taken the arbitrage game of jurisdiction to another level, actually solving the lack of a free market between nation states .
Then we had our own functional medicine expert, Dr. Oubre, explain how you can take charge of your health by unlocking your “discomfort” genome. I’m sure many of us have been on some pretty restrictive diets to achieve the best of health, when instead we could have done some testing to find what we were missing and figure out what our bodies need. He explored the five pillars of health: biological, mycotoxins, environmental (man-made), heavy metals, and emotional, and went on to explain why you should test for each pillar. bio chop after Healing is much easier than before healing. Once tweaked, you can then focus on reversing aging by unlocking your “discomfort” genome.
Last but not least, we had the quick start guide to 3D printing your Sovereignty. For example, just like hunting, tracking down, killing, and processing an animal isn’t your first choice when it comes to putting food on the table as it’s pretty inefficient. The same applies to 3D printing. It’s an unreliable source of weapons with a steep learning curve and going out and buying your guns is much more efficient. However, it’s not something you need until you do it, and at that point it’s too late. If you don’t have easy access to water, get a water softener, water filter, water delivery, etc. But only do this if you don’t have access to water. What if you don’t have access to water and no solution either? The same applies to 3D printing. When guns are off the table, you’ll want to know how to print them.
You don’t need a passport if all is well, but you also don’t need cyberspace money or a censorship-resistant way of exchanging value until fiat currencies go to zero and you lose your entire fortune. You do not need a second travel document until your original means of travel can no longer be used, at which point it is again too late. As sovereign individuals who are considered “preppers”, everything shared at Underground Citadel was definitely a step out of our comfort zone, just as any other form of growth is uncomfortable. So our message to all of you regarding everything we’ve covered is: it’s not easy, but it’s definitely worth it.
Luckily for those of you who couldn’t attend, we recorded the speakers and their presentations. You can visit this link to access the recordings.
