‘Days of Our Lives’: How to Watch on Peacock Streaming — No More NBC

The sand is still slipping through that hourglass — but now in a new, streaming-only home, as the iconic soap opera days of our lives switched from NBC to the streaming service Peacock.

Here’s how you can keep track of life in Salem USA.

days of our lives will stream exclusively on Peacock beginning Monday, September 12, ending its 57-year run on NBC. New episodes, released each day of the week, are only available to Peacock Premium subscribers, which normally cost $4.99 a month – although a fall sale running through the month of September brings the Premium plan down to just $1.99/ Month for new subscribers or $19.99 cuts for a full year (sign up here).

A new hour-long news program entitled NBC News Daily will fill days‘ Space to become available soon.

Fans of the Salem-based Sudser were quick to voice concerns about the move. In addition to the previously “free” soap now costing a few dollars a month, some have questioned whether the program even could change, as free as it will soon be from the constraints of cumbersome broadcast TV. days However, executive producer Ken Corday assured fans in a recent Q&A that they’re getting “the same show” they’ve been enjoying via streaming for years.

With perhaps one “bigger” exception.

“Starting February next year, you’re probably going to start getting more show content because we don’t have to limit the show to 38 minutes with 22 minutes of advertising,” Corday ventured. (days has already shot/saved episodes up to February 2023).

“On Peacock, with the [Premium] Subscription gives you four minutes of advertising time [per episode]and with the higher [Premium Plus] Subscription” that brings in $9.99/month, “You don’t get any advertising time. So that’s good,” he said.
