Destiny 2 Season Of The Plunder – How To Earn Repute
Reputation is the most valuable seasonal resource in Destiny 2 Season of the Plunder. Here’s how you can earn it.
Published on August 26, 2022
The rarest seasonal resource this time is called Reputation, and you can only earn a small amount of it each week. If you’re new to Destiny 2 and have no idea how to farm this valuable resource, don’t fret. Here is our guide explaining how to earn reputation in Destiny 2 Season of the Plunder.
How to get Renown in Destiny 2 Season of the Plunder
You can gain renown by completing the seasonal weekly mission “Ship Thief’s Sails” and completing seasonal weekly challenges. Unfortunately, as of this writing, these are the only ways to earn reputation in Destiny 2 Season of the Plunder.
While you can only earn a limited amount of Renown each week, the tasks required to earn it are fairly simple. Even the first week challenges that reward reputation are very easy to complete. Luckily, this means that if you’re consistent, you won’t have any trouble gaining reputation every week.
You need Reputation to level up the Star Map in the Helm. The Star Chart has three distinct areas – Quartermaster, Navigator, and Swashbuckler – where you can spend your hard-earned reputation.
Investing Reptune in any of the stages will grant you unique gameplay buffs. For example, the first upgrade of the Quartermaster section will give you a slightly increased reload speed during Ketchcrash and Expedition.
While the first Navigator section upgrade gives you a slightly increased precision damage in Ketchcrash and Expedition. Choose your poison wisely. This concludes our guide on how to earn Renown in Destiny 2 Season of the Plunder.
