FFXIV: How to unlock Pandaemonium Abyssos Raid in 6.2

Final Fantasy XIV Update 6.2 Buried Memory is now live, here’s how to access the latest raid, Pandaemonium Abyssos.

Pandaemonium Abyssos is an eight-player raid that was added to the game with the Final Fantasy XIV 6.2 Buried Memory update. The raid was teased at the end of Asphodelos, but now players can experience the mysteries of the Abyss for themselves.

However, you won’t be able to delve into the Pandaemonium Abyss right away, as there are a few things you need to do before you can tackle this epic heist. Below we cover everything you need to know about unlocking Pandaemonium Abyssos, the rewards you’ll get for completing it, and what’s next in FFXIV’s 6.2 update.

How to unlock Pandaemonium Abyssos

Before you can access Pandaemonium Abyssos you must have first cleared the first four Asphodelos raids. This includes the last quest in said series Who protects the guardians? You must also have completed the Endwalker expansion before starting this questline.

Once you’ve completed Endwalker and the Asphodelos raids, go and Talk to Claudia in Labyrinthos and accept his newest assignment, An uninvited visitor. We would also recommend chatting with Themis and Erichthonios to get some progress in the story.

Remember, you have to be at least level 90 before you can enter the Pandaemonium Abyssos and have some gear At least level 585. So if you’re not there already, do a bit of questing or grinding to get some levels.

Once you’re ready, the Circle of Abyssos quest. will be available in your Duty Finder and it’s time to explore the depths of the Abyss. Be aware that there are seven Circles of the Abyssos, so get ready to dive deep into this raid.

Pandaemonium Abyssos Rewards

Once you complete the seven circles of the abyss, you’ll get some tokens to give away Mylene in Labyrinthos or Djole in Radz-at-Han to trade them in for a snazzy new gear dubbed the Unsung Set of the Abyssos.

You can only pick up one token from each circle of the Abyssos each week until you have the whole set. Be warned though, most of the items in the set require multiple tokens, making the entire set a total of 15 weeks to unlock.

Here’s a breakdown of each piece in the set and how many tokens it takes to unlock:

Completing the raid also unlocks the Abyssal Blade. These can also be collected and traded with Mylene and Djole. Once you have four Blades of the Abyssos, you can trade them in for an Ultralight Tomestone.

You can then trade your Ultralight Tomestone and 500 Allegan Tomestones of Causality to Cihanti (in Radz-at-Han) for any available weapon.

Wild Pandaemonium Abyssos

As with the best raids in Final Fantasy XIV, Pandaemonium Abyssos will also have a Savage variant. This will be published on Tuesday, August 30 at 1:00 am PDT, 4:00 am EDT and 9:00 am BST.

To access the wild pandemonium Abyssos, chat with Nemjiji in Labyrinthos once you complete the seven standard circles. He will instruct you on what to do next.
