How to Craft in A Plague Tale: Requiem

As is the case with most games, you will learn how to craft items along with other features in A Plague Tale: Requiem is extremely important! The system for tinkering A Plague Tale: Requiem is quite unique and allows crafting and gathering resources through exploration at any time. However, there are a few different ways you can craft and upgrade gear that can be really helpful! Leveling up your gear is super important when it comes to late play! Crafting in A Plague Tale: Requiem

When you first jump in A Plague Tale: Requiem, you will be guided through the tutorial and learn how to perform most of the functions in the game. This also includes handicrafts. However, the tutorial just explains that once you find the item you want to create, you need to open the crafting menu and then hold down the crafting button. However, there are some things that are not explained to you right away.

Always keep an eye out for chests and small containers in your explorations! If you search them, you can find tons of materials needed for crafting. This even includes alcohol, which allows you to craft more of a given item.

There are even certain items that you can craft A Plague Tale: Requiem without even opening the crafting menu. Occasionally, by aiming down a crossbow’s sights, you can craft yourself different types of ammo. If you look at the diamond shape in the bottom right corner of your screen, it will prompt you to hold down a specific button to craft that ammo type. This is another type of craft in A Plague Tale: Requiem. This is an important type because you don’t have to open your crafting menu mid-game!

Another type of crafting you can do is upgrading equipment. This can be done at workbenches found around the world. In order to upgrade gear, you need to find parts and tools found during your adventures. Some workbenches can even be found in small containers. However, these containers will likely be locked.
