The title elden ring is broken and various demigods have laid claim to the fragments. The Tainted must seek the Greater Runes, fragments of the elden ringto ascend the throne as an Elden Lord.
In search of the weathered map
The Weathered Map is a means of finding a valuable item called the Maber Starlight, which is requested by Preceptor Seluvis during his quest line. Supposedly it can be used to make a potion that could even turn a demigod into a puppet, which sounds pretty ominous. The map is not necessary to complete the questline, but serves as a useful aid in locating the Amber Starlight.
The Weathered Map can be purchased from Pidia, Carian Servant. This NPC can be found in the Caria Manor area after completing the Manor by defeating the boss. Since defeating the boss in Caria Manor is anyway necessary to reach Preceptor Seluvis, this shouldn’t be a big problem. In order to reach Pidia, players must find the spot in the Three Sisters area on the western side of the manor, where they can fall into a previously inaccessible part of the manor. This location can be seen on the map above.
Once the player has dropped into the mansion, they can turn right and fall down a series of wooden platforms to reach the lower part of the roof and then head down the nearby ladder into a balcony area where Pidia can be found.
If the player killed Pidia, they can instead buy the card from the Twin Maiden Husks in Roundtable Hold after giving them Pidia’s Bell Bearing. In any case, the card costs 600 runes.
Following the map will take players to a location on the Altus Plateau near the Altus Highway Junction Site of Grace where the Amber Starlight can be found, allowing players to advance Preceptor Seluvis’ quest line and uncover more of its history.
