How to find Luma Temtem

Finding Luma Temtem is completely random. With a base encounter rate of 1 in 7500, the likelihood of just wandering into one while exploring is extremely low. Instead, there are several methods you can use to increase your chances of finding Lumas.

Saipark

Saipark bonuses for September 26th to October 2nd, 2022

Two Temtem are introduced each week Saipark on Deniz. Every alternate week, these Temtem have one increased chance of being in their Luma formwith a bonus somewhere in between times two and times eight. This will drastically reduce the time you spend searching for a Luma, but it will limit you to that which two random Temtem will be featured this weekand you can only search for that Temtem during that week period.

Remember that to tame Temtem in Saipark you need special cards called “Cards”. cards. These can be bought Bundles at the Saipark receptionand will expire at the end of the week.

Overall, finding Luma Temtem in Saipark is great if you want Lumas of any type and have the time when Luma Rate Up week is available.

Temtem Radars

The best way to increase your chances of finding Luma Temtem is through Temtem Radars. These items can be bought with Springs on Tamer’s Paradise Island. When buying a radar, you can Choose any Temtem you want to buy a radar for.

Activating this radar in a location where the Temtem can be found will start a chain. Defeating or capturing the target Temtem increases the chainand thus Increase the chance of it appearing as a luma. Radar chain bonuses are detailed below.

chain length Luma bonus rate
0-99 x1
100-199 x5
200-300 x10

At 300 encounters, the chain is complete and the radar collapses. Your chain will also break if you run away from the Temtemif you Capture or defeat a Temtem that you are not chainingor if your party is defeated. Your chain will not break if you run back to a Temporium to heal, swap your squad, or end the game.

Compared to the normal encounter with Temtem, Chaining through Radars massively increases the chance of finding a Luma Temtem, and allows you to search for a specific Temtem that you want to search for. If you can spare the feathers, radars are a great investment for Luma hunting.

breed

Finally, Breeding Luma Temtem together increases the chance that the offspring will also be Luma. If one parent is Luma, the chances of the offspring being Luma are increased 1 in 750and If both parents are Luma, this chance further increases to 1 in 75.

While this seems to be by far the best method for Luma hunting, keep this in mind Breeding Temtem together reduces their fertilitywhat each Temtem means can only be bred a certain number of times before it can no longer breed. However, if you have two Luma Temtem that are compatible to breed, this can be a great way to get more and sell them for a ton of Pansuns.
