How to Remove Connections on LinkedIn

How do I remove connections on LinkedIn?

LinkedIn makes it easy to weed out members from your network. Here’s what to do.

1. On the page of the person you want to remove, locate just below their photo and biographical information and click More… Button. It will populate a drop down menu.

2. From this drop-down menu, select the second to last option accessed remove connection.

3. If you use this removal method, LinkedIn can inform this user that you have visited their page. After that, it only takes a few clicks to realize that you have removed them from your network.

   When you want to remove someone, there’s also no confirmation box asking if you’re sure you want to perform the action. So make sure you want to remove the person before actually clicking Remove connection. Otherwise, you may have to endure a little embarrassment when sending a new connection request.

   
   

How to remove a connection from your LinkedIn without them knowing

Sometimes you want to exclude someone from your professional life, but you want to do so in a way that doesn’t cause uncomfortable feelings or disbelief. As such, LinkedIn has a way of removing someone from your contact list without potentially breaking or breaking bridges.

1. To get started, look at the top of your profile page and click on it my network

2. Once with you my network page, look for the on the left links option below Manage my network. This will take you to the entire list of connections you’ve made on LinkedIn.

3. Now find the person you want to disconnect from using the search function. You can search for the right contact using their name, employer and other identifying information to make your search easier.

   
   

4. Once you’ve found the person in question, look to the right of their listing and click three points is next to the Messages button to find the remove connection Possibility. Choose remove connection to remove that person from your network.

5. Confirm your decision by clicking on it Remove. LinkedIn does not notify the person concerned.
