Brontosaurus location

Tame a Brontosaurus

The best way to take out a Brontosaurus is with tranquilizers and a trap. Using a large bear trap, you can immobilize the brontosaurus and then use tranquilizers to shoot it until it’s unconscious.
Bear traps are made with five fibers, three metal ingots, and six skin.
If you want to attack the Brontosaurus until it’s unconscious, we recommend keeping your distance to avoid damage.
Brontosaurus tames food
Once the Brontosaurus has been eliminated, you must place food in its inventory. TThe best option for this is Exceptional Kibble, but if you don’t have that, you can use berries or barley as well.

Breeding a Brontosaurus

Creatures only breed if you allow them to roam. If you don’t want your brontosaurus to stray too far, you can build a large enclosure with high walls.
Eventually, your Brontosaurus will hatch and an egg will be laid. The egg takes about five hours to hatch and should be kept at temperatures between 28 and 31 degrees Celsius. This is a relatively average temperature for the island, but be sure to read our guide to hatching eggs if you need help.
After a female lays an egg, it will be unable to breed for at least 18 hours. After this is over, you can breed them again to get another egg.
