How to Use The Auto-Feeder
Fans of farming simulations and exploration games will be delighted slime breeder 2. Farming slimes on Rainbow Island is a full-time job, but there are upgrades and machines players can get to make things easier, such as the auto-feeder.
As you traverse the colorful scenes, there are tons of slimes and resources to collect and bring back to the Conservatory, Beatrix’s home base. Slimes are notoriously hungry creatures that often want to be fed. That Auto Feeder takes matters into their own hands, allowing players to spend more time traveling around the island and less time worrying about their slimes.
How to get the auto feeder
Getting the auto-feeder takes some work from ranchers, but it’s worth it when there are a lot of slimes to take care of in one location. Hungry slimes are more likely to escape their pens, and unruly slimes can become a nuisance.
If they merge with too many slimes, they become cannibalistic and deadly to all surrounding slimes, effectively clearing out an entire ranch. Unlike other machines in the game, players don’t need to find blueprints for the auto-feeder, and it’s available almost instantly. Let’s go through everything players need to get the auto feeder.
Earn Plorts
The auto-feeder is not free, and ranchers must spend plorts before they can use it. in the slime breeder 2, slimes deposit plorts whenever they are fed. They look like diamonds and their colors reflect the slime they came from.
These can then be sold for Newbucks at the Plort Market in the Conservatory. The Plort market fluctuates daily, so keeping an eye on prices can help maximize profit. The rarer the slime, the more valuable their plans are. While they typically drop one plant per meal, they will drop two when given their favorite food. Plorts must be farmed in the wild until players earn enough to build pens.
Build a hurdle
Slimes are kept in a corral in the conservatory. Lots are scattered around the conservatory, and ranchers can build helpful things like pens, storage facilities, ponds, and incinerators.
The basic Corral costs 250 Newbucks, but some upgrades are available after construction, e.g. B. High Walls, Air Nets and of course the Auto-Feeder. Ranchers can get the auto-feeder that is on the corner of the corral for 500 newbucks.
Using the automatic feeder
The auto feeder is especially useful when players have a lot of slimes or dangerous slimes. For example, the Rock and Crystal slimes deal physical damage to players when they make contact, so farming their plorts is a risky business.
That’s when the auto feeder comes into play. To use it, shoot a food item into the porthole. It will then release a small amount of food at regular intervals to keep the slimes fed and happy.
slime breeder 2 is available in Early Access on PC and Xbox Series X/S.
