Diamond League 2022 action continues this Friday, August 26th in Lausanne, Switzerland with an additional presentation on Saturday, August 27th. Live coverage will be available on Peacock and CNBC. Below is more information on how to watch/live stream the Diamond League 2022.

This weekend’s competition is teeming with talent, including a host of fan-favorite Olympians, world champions and rising stars. All Diamond League Lausanne 2022 entry lists can be found here, but here are five key events not to be missed.

Five Diamond League Lausanne 2022 events:

200m men – As a two-time world 200m champion, one of athletics’ most exciting rivalries continues this weekend Noah Lyle (Alexandria, Virginia) and World Bronze Medalist Erryon Knighton (Tampa, Fla.) compete against each other. When those two met in the World Championships final in Eugene, Lyles broke the American record in 19.31 seconds Kenny Bednarek (Rice Lake, Wisconsin) in second place and Knighton in third place. It’s also a return to the podium from the Monaco Diamond League Michael Norman (Murrieta, Calif.), who clinched the world title in the men’s 400-meter dash last month, also in the field.

100m womenShelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, Shericka Jacksonand Elaine Thompson-Herah, The Jamaican powerhouse trio, who took podiums at the Tokyo Olympics and the 2022 World Championships, will attempt another act of dominance. Twanisha Terry (Miami, Fla.), who was part of the USA team that clinched an incredible upset win in the women’s 4×100 at the World Championships, will represent the Americans next door Aleia Hobbs (New Orleans, Louisiana) and Tamari Davis (Clermont, Florida).

Men’s 110 meter hurdles – Americans will take part in this race Grant Holloway (Chesapeake, Virginia), who became the first repeated world champion in the event since the American Allen Johnson (2001/2003) and World Silver Medalist Trey Cunningham (Winfield, Alabama). Tokyo Olympic Champion Hansle parchment from Jamaica is also in the field.

Women’s 100 meter hurdles – Nigeria’s Toby Amusanthe reigning world champion, who broke the world record in her semifinal run in Oregon, will face Puerto Rico Jasmine Camacho Quinn and Keni Harrison (Clayton, North Carolina), the gold and silver medalists from Tokyo. World Champion 2019 Nia Ali (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) and Tia Jones (Marietta, Georgia) will also represent the USA at this event.

Shot Put Men – This event offers Ryan Crouser (boring, Oregon), Joe Kovacs (Nazareth, Pennsylvania) and Josh Awotunde (Franklinville, New Jersey) – all three of this year’s world medalists. American Darrell Hill (Darby, Pennsylvania), a 2016 Olympian, will also be in the field.
