The second round of the 2022 CJ Cup in South Carolina begins Friday morning at Congaree Golf Club. Here’s what you need to know to watch Round 2 on TV or online.
Round 2 preview
Rory McIlroy and Tom Kim were the talk of the tournament before the CJ Cup began thanks to Kim’s surprise appearance at McIlroy’s press conference on Wednesday. And the Rory McIlroy-Tom Kim Show continued Thursday at the CJ Cup.
Both players – one a four-time Major winner and this week’s defending champion, the other a rising star in the midst of a breakthrough run – came out hot in the opening round at Congaree, firing a matching five-under 66 while playing in the same group.
The impressive performances propelled the pair to the top of the rankings, one shot behind early co-leaders Gary Woodland and Trey Mullinax.
For round two on Friday, McIlroy and Kim will tee off at 1:01 p.m. ET. You can watch Round 2 televised Friday afternoon from 3:00 p.m. on Golf Channel or stream the action via Golfchannel.com, NBCSports.com or Peacock.
