John Mayer is ready to pick up his acoustic guitar and take fans back to 2012. On Sunday August 21st the Grammy winner will play his fifth studio album Born & Raised front to back for an audio live stream at Pine Creek Lodge in Livingston, Montana to raise funds for Montana flood relief.

Released almost a decade ago, Born & Raised marked a new era for the singer-songwriter – who was only recently based in Montana at the time – with singles like “Shadow Days”, deep cuts like “Whiskey, Whiskey, Whiskey” and opener “Queen of California”. This week, Mayer, who still calls Treasure State home, announced fans could watch the intimate show on livestream site nugs.net.

According to nugs.net, Mayer fans can view the acoustic set without a standard monthly subscription by paying a one-time ticket fee of $20. In addition to streaming access to the show, you can also purchase select merch as if you were there in person, including t-shirts and posters.

According to nugs.net, proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Livingston-based Park County Community Foundation.

“Park County, where I’ve lived for over a decade, is just north of a main entrance to the park,” Mayer previously shared on Instagram after the Yellowstone River flooded in June. “The community thrives on tourism and does most of the year’s business during the summer months, which attract tourists to the area. Due to the park closure, hotels in the area have experienced 50-70% cancellations as potential visitors have decided to make other plans.”

Although Mayer has toured the album’s songs over the years, he announced that he will be “the Born and grown up album in its entirety for the first time ever (among other things) Solo-Akustik” on Sunday evening.

“When [Born & Raised] When it first came out nobody really took it,” Mayer wrote on Instagram to celebrate the LP’s 10th anniversary in May. “It didn’t have the same chordal complexity that I was known for at the time, instead focusing more on the lyrical aspect of things. I think there’s a sincerity in the relative simplicity of the chords that let the words carry the message. To this day, those songs are still some of my favorites when I play them live.”

Mayer’s acoustic livestream concert follows the previous two Rise for the flow Benefit shows with Bob Weir and Dave Chappelle respectively, along with a busy summer touring schedule with Dead & Company. And earlier this spring, Mayer also toured in support of his ’80s-inspired eighth studio album, Sob Rock.

Fans who missed the first benefit show can watch the Bob Weir concert online at nugs.net until August 28th.

For the John Mayer livestream show, fans can still purchase tickets to the livestream event or donate directly to the SWMT Flood Relief Fund online. The live stream begins at 8 p.m. mountain time / 10 p.m. ET. Those who can’t see it live can also stream it on demand at nugs.net until the 28th.
