Scottie Scheffler, who has been the OWGR No. 1 since March, is in the best position to win it all. Scheffler started the tournament two shots up and extended his lead to five with a five-under-65 shot.

Xander Schauffele sits a distant second with 10-under after an incredible round of 64 on Thursday, and US Open champion Matt Fitzpatrick is in third place with nine-under after matching Schauffele’s score.
