REGARD: How “White Lotus” brings back the “Termin-TV”.

It’s hard to miss Jennifer Coolidge on the cover of W Magazine’s latest Director’s Issue.

The White Lotus star channels a stylish Power Rangers villain who poses powerfully while sporting a giant bow.

Directed by Oscar nominees Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, the “Coolidge vs. Haute Squad 5: Attack on Neo Runway City – Jennifer Reborn” editorial shoot features Coolidge in a variety of big, bold looks like we’ve never seen before have seen.

The shoot serves as an homage to tokusatsu, a genre of cheesy Japanese cinema that spawned legendary creatures like Godzilla, Mothra, and Giant Robo.

In one shot, Coolidge can be seen wearing a pastel oversized coat with black polka dots as she blows a kiss over a blown up city and a giant robot.

There is also another shot where she is seen in an ornate purple screw-shaped dress while holding a puppy-shaped purse.

Coolidge shared her thoughts on her character “Tanya” from White Lotus in the accompanying cover story, saying, “I feel sorry for her because she didn’t know what she was made of.”

“She didn’t have that much confidence in herself,” she continued. “Sometimes these scary things happen in life. And then, in about two seconds, you find out that you’re a survivor and that you really can come through for yourself, sometimes in ways you never thought you could.”

W Magazine published the final cover of Volume 2, The Directors Issue, starring Jennifer Coolidge in Coolidge vs. Haute Squad 5: Attack on Neo Runway City – Jennifer Reborn, directed by Oscar nominees Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert.

In addition to her famous character, Coolidge also spoke about working with Kwan and Scheinert and how it was one of the best things she’s ever been a part of.

“The movie business tires people. But I swear to God I felt like I was getting together with little kids,” Coolidge said. “They were like this kind of child prodigies who are super, super smart and just super creative. I’ve never been asked to do a shoot like this: I have guns, I tear down small towns, I pick up cars and throw them. I don’t know if I’ll ever be that surprised again.”
