Legacy: The True Story of the LA Lakers airs Monday, August 15 on Hulu.
The documentary chronicles the rise of the Lakers as they become one of the most dominant and popular franchises in professional sports, with exclusive access to the Buss family, players, coaches and front-office executives.
The 10-part docuseries chronicles the purchase of the franchise by Dr. Jerry Buss, the “Showtime” era of the Lakers, the Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal threesome and more.
As Hulu wrote in its synopsis of the documentary, “Legacy: The True Story of the LA Lakers” is about “family, business, and power — and how to use all three to achieve greatness.”

Who Contributed to the Lakers Documentary on Hulu?
Lakers CEO and owner Jeanie Buss served as executive producer on the series alongside director Antoine Fuqua.
Also executive producing are Haven Entertainment’s Kevin Mann, Michael Mann and Brendan Bragg, as well as Los Angeles Media Fund’s Jeffrey Soros, Simon Horsman and Lakers senior executive Linda Rambis.
